The President of Armenia is on a 3-day visit to India

1.Serzh Sargsyan, the president of Armenia is on a 3-day visit to India to attend the World Food India conference 2017.

2.The exchange of views was conducted between both the countries based on topics like Economic, Trade, Technological, Scientific, Cultural and Educational Cooperation.


The New US ambassador to India is Kenneth Juster

1.Kenneth Juster,62, who played a major role in the Indo-US civil nuclear deal has been confirmed by the US Senate as the next US ambassador to India.

2. He will replace Richard Varma.


The AU small finance bank got a scheduled commercial bank status

1.The AU Small Finance Bank has been granted the approval to operate as Scheduled Commercial Bank and has been included in the Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.

2.Now AU Small Finance Bank will be able to do borrowing and lending with RBI under Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) and Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF). 

Yes bank signs 1000 crore MOU with government 

1. Yes bank has signed an agreement of Rs.1000 crore to provide food processing projects.

2.The funding will be provided to around 100 food processing projects with an average fund size of Rs 10 crore each.

5th November is the World Tsunami Awareness day

1.Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri gave his resignation from his post in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital.

2.The day is celebrated to raise awareness regarding dangers of the tsunami.

1. Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the king of Bhutan with his wife, Queen Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck is on a four-day visit to India and arrived in New-Delhi.


2. The King will meet PM Modi and President Ramnath Kovind during the visit.

No tax will be imposed on Agricultural produce up to Rs.2 Lakh Rupees

1.The Income tax department has declared under the Income tax act that On a cash sale of less than 2 Lakh by a farmer to the trader, no income tax will be deducted.

2.The PAN (Permanent Account Number) of both the trader and cultivator will be required to be submitted.
 
 
Mary Kom becomes the Women’s Youth World Championships Ambassador
 
1.The AIBA Women’s Youth World Championships has named MC Mary Kom as its brand ambassador.She is a five-time world champion.
2.The event will be held in Guwahati, Assam from November 19 to 26.
