1.According to the Forbes’ real-time billionaire list,after leaving behind China’s Hui Ka Yan,the Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani became Asia’s richest man with a worth of total $42.1 billion.

2.Ambani stood on 14th position in the Forbes billionaire list with a personal worth of $466 Million.


Karnataka enters into sister-ties with Indiana,a state in the US

1.The maximum age to enter National Pension Scheme raised from 60 to 65 years of age.

2.The focus will be paid by the two states mainly on workforce development, academic co-operation, information and communications technologies, advanced manufacturing, and materials.

The maximum age to join NPS raised from 60 to 65 years

1.The age of joining National Pension Scheme has been raised from 60 to 65 years in the Private Sector.

2.In accordance to the steps taken by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA),now any citizen of India, resident or non-resident can can join the NPS up to the age of 70 on joining between age of 60-65 years.

Goa is the safest and Bihar least safe for girls: GVI 

1. According to a Global vulnerability index(GVI) calculated by the NGO plan India, Goa has been ascertained to be the safest state and Bihar is the least safe for girls.

Least Safe States-
  1. Bihar(Least safe)

According to the WEF’s Global Gender gap Index, India went down 21 spots

1.In a list released by the World Economic Forum, India’s position lowered by 21 places to 108th position in the global gender gap index.

2.The Top 5 Countries in the List are-

 
  1. Iceland,
  2. Norway,
  3. Finland, 
  4. Rwanda and,
  5. Sweden. 

 

The Government of Assam has signed an MOU with Singapore to make its youth skilled

1. An MOU(Memorandum of Understanding) and ToR(terms of reference) has been signed between Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department, of Assam government and ITE Education Service, Singapore to make its youth skilled.

2. A MoU was signed between the Singapore Corporation Enterprise and Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority.

Neelmani N.Raju becomes First woman Police chief of Karnataka

1.Neelmani N.Raju is Karnataka’s first woman Inspector General of Police and Director General.
