ICJ elects Dalveer Bhandari as its fifth Nominee from India
1.After the candidate from Britain withdrew, Dalveer Bhandari was re-elected as the nominee from India as the fifth and last member.
2.Dalveer secured 15 votes in the Security Council and 183-193 votes in the General Assembly at UN headquarters in New York.

Nagaland.It was the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of Ujwal DISCOM Assurance Yojana (UDAY).

Manik Bannerjee given lifetime achievement award by the IMF

India & Russia signed a loan agreement for visa-free movement of flight crew
1. A general declaration between India & Russia has been agreed on to be implemented for the visa-free entry of the flight crew of scheduled and chartered flights.
2.The agreement will enable free entry and exit of flight attendants between the terminals of India & Russia.
