Indian Army invites applications from Male and Female candidates for the 40th SSC (Technical) Men and 11th SSC (Technical) Women Short Service Commission (SSC) Course April 2013 at Officers Training Academy, Channai. Interested Candidates can apply by registering online on the official website of Indian Army www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 01 Aug 2012 to 31 Aug 2012.
Indian Army SSC 40th Technical Recruitment 2012 details:
(i) For SSC (Non Tech)-40 Men - 20 to 27 years. Born not earlier than 02 Apr 86 and not latter than 01 Apr 93.
ii) SSC (Tech)-11 Women- 20 to 27 years. Born not earlier than 02 Apr 86 and not latter than 01 Apr 93.
iii) For Widows of Defence Personnel with four years age relaxation.
a) For SSC W (Non Tech) - 19 to 29 years. Born not earlier than 02 Jan 84 not latter than 01 Jan 94.
b) For SSCW(Tech) - 20 to 31 years. Born not earlier than 02 Apr 82 and not latter than 02 Apr 93.
Educational Qualifications (Eligibility Criteria) :
Candidates studying in the Final Year of Eingineering Degree and who are qualified graduates of the Degree Course in Engineering will be eligible to apply. The qualified graduates of the Degree Course must possess Engineering Degree at the time of joining training.
