Age Limit : Not below 18 years and not above 30 years as on 30/09/2011

Pay Scale : The post carries the pay scale of Rs.5850-200/4-6650-250/5-7900-300/4-9100-350/3-10150-400/3-1350, with such allowances that are admissible under State Bank of Travancore service regulations.

Selection Procedure : The selection will be made based on the performance in: -

i.              A Physical fitness & aptitude test will be conducted for the applicants found eligible on scrutiny of the applications.  Those who do not get minimum Mark in the physical test will be disqualified.
ii.            Those who are qualified in the physical fitness and aptitude test will be called for an interview.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2011, a Degree awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State or of any institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2011, he/she must have passed Intermediate or any other examination recognised by the State Government as being equivalent to Intermediate and should have studied Degree.
 
Physical standards:
 i) For the post code nos. 11 to 17:
 a) Height: Must not be less than 167.6 cms.
 b) Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
 ii) For the post code no. 18:
 a) Height: Must not be less than 152.5 cms
 b) Weight: Must not be less than 40 kgs
