Punjab and UK signed MoU to promote Skill Development
Punjab government and the United Kingdom decided to join hands for imparting skill training and technical education to the youths of the state in order to provide better employment opportunities abroad.
Punjab technical education minister met deputy high commissioner of Britain. He said after meeting that Punjab Government was focusing on providing quality education to the youth to enable them get jobs in the leading industries of the world.
RBI appoints S. Ganesh Kumar new Executive Director
The Reserve Bank has appointed Ganesh Kumar as Executive Director (ED) after the voluntary retirement of Chandan Sinha. Kumar will look after the departments of Information Technology, Payment and Settlement Systems and External Investments and Operations.
Raksha Mantri award has been conferred to BEML
Defence public sector BEML Ltd has bagged the Raksha Mantri’s Award for Excellence for design and development of 180-tonne electric hydraulic excavator BE1800E.
CMD, BEML received the award from Defence Minister while Minister of State for Defence presented the certificate of excellence to Director-Mining & Construction, BEML.

The objective of the program is to communicate the achievement of government in three years. This fest has been lauinched in view of completion of three years of central government in power.

Varanasi will get the country’s first ‘freight village’ spread over around 100 acres.
Freight Village is a specialized industrial estate which attracts companies that require logistics services and can cluster to improve their competitiveness.
The plan to set up this project close to the upcoming multi-mode terminal along the Ganga has attracted major players including Dubai Port World and IL&FS and many more.
